I have degrees in audio engineering and acoustic engineering, I've gone all the way down the audionerd rabbit hole and back again at least twice (although never the audiophile rabbit hole because audiophiles are always full of shit and lacking evidence-base). After a couple decades I'm over it, I'm able to happily enjoy a nice hi-fi home speaker system with bluetooth or a fucking aux cable without getting hung up on phase coherence and data loss. And I am at peace.
