I've heard that in some ways it's worse than the GRII so if you don't need the stabilization (admittedly it could be very useful) or the extra resolution consider getting that one since it should go for much cheaper. I have the GRII and its APS-C sensor paired with the very sharp lens can produce satisfying results imo
