>>4371585I think they have the best light quality but they are very energy inefficient (they use a lot of power to get light) and they get very very hot. The light quality they produce is so good that when they test light quality of LED lights and give you a CRI rating—that rating is just telling you how the light compares with a tungsten bulb.
If you are able to deal with the power-draw and heat of a tungsten they are in.
If you want something that won’t make your cast and craw sweat like a pig and won’t run up a power bill they are out.
