>>4096575it sounds like you just don't like the metering's preferences. lenses aren't going to change the way the camera reads the scene. try different metering modes and if that fails, you may just not like fuji's metering and you may have to use exposure comp more often. also, make sure you're shooting DR100 with DR priority off if you're shooting for raw because if you don't, it will make your raw photos darker.
