I've been pleasantly surprised recently at how good Panasonic's Toughbook support is though.
I bought two Toughpads, one for $30 and the other for $200, but the $30 one was PIN locked and the $200 unit had a custom FedEx script loaded onto it.
I contacted them and they sent me two free shipping labels; after two weeks, they returned with factory restores and they even replaced one of the screens that had a nick in it.
