To the point were some filmakers that are retards (like peter jackson) are deliberately softening their films (he attributed the negative reactions to the 48fps 3d of the first hobbit movie as being because the "image was too sharp" so he made the 2nd one look shit)
You still got the odd really sharp 35mm movie too but they were kind of rare.
Titanic for me is the ideal level of sharpness.
