Here's the MTF of the olympus 12mm f2 macro, MTF 0.5 means there's a 50% contrast transition between lines, and is used as a base standard for resolution in photography, also known as "MTF 50".
This lens manages to stay above that on an MFT sensor at less than 20lp/mm. I'll be kind and let them have the full 20.
An MFT sensor is 17mm x 13mm, that means even with a 100 gigapixel sensor, the absolute best resolution this lens can manage across the frame is just 680 x 520.
Do you honestly believe "normal photographers" would be hapyp with images less than 720p? because that's what you get with MFT.
