>>4415662That's why I'm wondering if its a function of the lens/body being used or user taste. I feel like I have to up the dehaze a decent amount if I wanna bring out blue skys and clouds and brighten the photo overall so its not flat.
Pic related is the lens, LR says its a Sigma and its probably from the 90s. For lens profile I use the Tamron A17P 70-300mm since its most similar in construction imo...the Sigma 70-300mm Macro profile makes things look distorted.
My 55-300mm SMC DA-L is definitely better optically (no fringing and sharper) but likely a little decanted (-9 in AF Microadjustments vs -6 for the 70-300mm)
