Dad gave me pic related today. Said he bought it used in the early 80's when he was big into photography. It's a "Davis & Sanford Redi-Tilt" not sure if it's any good but it appears to be all aluminum legs and body with the mount being a pretty solid steel. It needs some cleanup and the joints probably need lubed a little but it seems to be pretty solid.

I'm also looking for a good higher-zoom lens that will fit on my new T6i Hm.
Going to probably buy my dad a DSLR for father's day too, he used to really be into it and knows a fair bit about the hobby. Sold all his stuff long ago and when I got my DSLR a few days ago he seemed interested and kinda regretful he sold his stuff. He justified it by saying it "probably wouldn't be worth anything now, with all the digital stuff 35mm is totally obsolete anymore"
Hm. Suggestions for a good dad cam? I don't want to spend as much as I did on my T6i but I don't want to get him a shitty camera. Mom said she'll help me out. I think he really wants a Canon too, so unless there's something really compelling otherwise I'm pretty set on that.
