When you put a full frame lens on an APS-C body, the lens will behave differently because of the sensor size: you have to calculate with a different focal length (lens's focal length x 1.6), and you will get also get a different DOF (eg. you loose the creaminess of the bokeh). The question: since the DOF is ALSO affected on an APS-C, does it mean, that your f-number had to be calculated differently? Does that automatically also mean, that if you shoot with the same lens with same f-number settings, you have to use a lower shutter speed on the APS-C to have the same ammount of light?
