>>3325472That's not it. Crushed blacks means that there are no real black tones in the image. Many filters do it by default, but it's also easy to do in any processing software that supports curves.
Observe left, dark side of histogram. I guarantee you that if you look at op's image histogram it'll have similar lack of black value as the lower example. You can do the same thing for whites on the opposite side of the histogram.
