>>3885444Fuji for photography peaked with X-trans III. The X-Pro2, X-T2 and X100F were incredible at the time. Pre A7III it was just a completely different game. You can tell Fuji panicked when the A7III was announced because they dumped the X-H1 shortly after that.
I still think there is a place for them when you look at the x-s10 and x-e4... incredible value for hybrid video/photo in a package FF can’t compete with size/weight wise.
It’s the higher end stuff where it’s harder to justify. Why would a photographer buy an X-T4 for $1700 when a Z6 is $1400? Unless you care about the intangibles like aesthetics of design, shutter mech, metal bottom plate... it’s just a questionable purchase for a photographer.
I fucking love Fuji, but outside of the X100V I feel like they’re losing the plot a bit.
