>>3390855I just had to deal with this. I had 400 and 800 ISO film. I had to go through security six times on my trip and I always asked if they could hand inspect the film. The film ended up going through the machine twice. One time they refused to hand inspect and one time I think it was kind of a language barrier issue and they didn't understand what I was asking.
Anyway, the security people are usually very understanding and will hand inspect it, but if they insist on x-raying, the film will still be fine most likely. I've posted quite a few shots in this thread and they all went through the x-ray twice.
