>>3605743>any modern camera will do that>If you're talking about separate cameras then I'll have to trust you. If not, then my phone has some artifacts and overprocessing that I don't like in those scenarios.I mean any real camera that's not a phone or point and shoot. (interchangeable lens cameras start at MFT and above)
>>3605743>I wasn't talking about zoomed in pictures of the moon, just pictures where you can see some detail on it instead of a huge blob of light together with the clouds surrounding it.the moon is actually very small relative to the size of the sky, so if you want anything where it actually takes up space as a subject (e.g., a picture of the moon is rising through the mountains) you will need a telphoto lens. On a normal lens (e.g., 50mm equivalent) it will look tiny
>pic related>>3605743>If this board doesn't mind potentially bad photos, I'll come back and contribute once I feel I've improved a little. Until then, I'll just lurk to learn moreno, you should start posting photos now.
If the camera you own is the limiting factor in your photographs, then buying a real camera will actually help.
But if the limiting factor is you suck at taking photographs, then learning how to compose a shot will matter much, much more than buying a new camera
