I’ve got a Sony A-something.
There’s a few things I don’t like about it but they’re pretty subjective, so I won’t bring it up - as your first camera that’s what you’ll be used to so won’t be a problem
One thing I have found is shooting JPEG is really shit (specifically very soft, lacking fine detail.) It’s great with RAW though.
Excels at super fast and accurate auto focus.

What camera is actually being used here.
What a good photograph looks like.
On a positive note, I get to take my shit camera to this nearby river to take shit photos, and discuss with surfers why my kayak is shit.
