>>4048242Perspective distortion just comes from your subject distance. If you simply stood farther away with the 22mm, and cropped in after the fact (you have 24mp to work with), you could get the same look as you would with a 50mm f2 or even 85mm f2.
You can also use that distortion to your advantage, vertical shots with wide lenses can be good for slimming down a model for example.
Not my pictures, but a good example of portraits at that focal length. They are ~35mm in FF terms (so that 22mm), and one is actually 24mm in FF terms (15mm on the m200). You'd get the same framing / distortion as these, but less background blur than some.
