is it possible to clean that up without ruining them, or has the mold already ate the emulsion? is it at least safe to clean the non-emulsion 'shiny' side with a q-tip and some distilled water?
I've never worked with slides before so I don't want to mess with them. got asked to scan them as they are first but said that if I could clean them up to get a cleaner scan it'd be great.
