>>3555962Yeah wow, and it only took 12 years. Pretty AMAZING if you ask me! Go Sony!
But...interestingly, there's some pretty solid rumors that the mysterious lenses on the Olympus lens roadmap are finally providing the replacements to the Four Thirds Super High Grade lenses. So far, Olympus has only replaced just the High Grade lenses with the 2.8 Pro zooms.
The rumor is that the new zooms that are meant to replace the Four Thirds SHG lenses like the 12 year old Olympus 35-100 F/2 are going to be f/1.8 or f/1.4 constant aperture standard and telephoto zooms, much like the phenomenal and unmatched Panasonic 10-25 f/1.7 zoom lens.
Olympus and Panasonic knew not to play their cards too early. They're waiting for everyone else to play catchup and then they're going to astonish everyone with lenses no one has even imagined possible for size, weight, price, and performance.
Congratulations on your upcoming Tamron, hope it has good IQ!
