I just picked up a Holga 120N, and it’s a bit different from my other ones.
1. There’s two tripod mounts. One in its usual place under the lens, and another 2cm behind, set in the body.
2. Looks like there’s remnant of something above the shutter release. Like something was originally mounted there but snapped off, leaving the glue behind.
3. Most notably, there’s this pin in the side that I can’t figure out.
When in, both shutter settings act like bulb mode. The shutter closes if you pull the pin.
When out (pulls about 1cm,) both settings act like normal mode, it doesn’t seem to affect the shutter speed (or its too subtle for me to notice.)
From the looks of it, this was built into the camera at the factory. Looks nothing like someone’s janky weekend modification.
Another Holga I have handy has none of these features, nor do I recall any of my other ones having them. Aside from the above, it looks like any other Holga, no internal differences. The name badge says 120N. I looked up model lists, and none mention these features. I stared at images on google, and haven’t come across another like this.
Anyone know about this?
