As for boring subject: I used to have a wide social circle and do cool stuff that I could take a mix of more meme-y and interesting photos with, but currently I know no one where I live. I think that’s the primary reason that most of my LF work is empty scenery. I have no accomplices to shenanigans, as I put it.
I’ve also gotten a little less bold about shooting people on 4x5. My MF material benefited from a time when I was more socially active, the portability of the systems, and in the case of spontaneous portraiture, the lack of an imposing physical form.
I’m going to spill the better shot I took recently, now. 7 minute exposure at f/11, 90mm focal length, Fomapan 100. Back of a church in Rosemont, 3am.
I can geolocate Montreal photos for people if they want to see these places from other angles.
