If you need 35mm, MF and LF scans flatbeds are "good" for the wallet but why tf are you even shooting MF or LF if money is a concern? One should only buy into MF or LF if they need the larger neg size and they can afford it. You don't reap the entire benefits of those larger negs if you're only gonna scan them w/ a flatbed
