Why is a Nikon F mount mirrorless impossible due to the flange distance when in reality the lack of the mirror means you can insert more components inside the camera. It can look like this classic Nikon FM film camera. Chances are the only reason Nikon Z exist is because making a new line of lenses is more profitable for Nikon.
