The 14-42 will do if you wanna go m43 and the em1 is a body you can grow into and put a pro level zoom on eventually if you like the hobby. You wont really be able to tell the difference yet between ta 14-42 and a pro zoom. Go look at some photos and see if you like the format. You dont need a full frame by any means. Its not like an automatic upgrade that everyone just goes to eventually, but if you dont like the grain/noise/whatever from m43, then that's that. Not everyone does. Also, you said the camera looks cooler, which means you might be more likely to pick it up, take it places, be seen with it and learn what all the buttons do. Vain, but think about it. Go look at some pictures a while.
