the ones managed by the bigger companies tend to be more decent to sit in but I will agree it's not exactly "comfy". I however suspect that he's using the word to say "nostalgic" which, for reason not clear to me, is the emotion the picture of minibus interiors seems to to evoke in a few of the people (from outside here).
