I don't get this complaint. I work a shitty entry level job at a call centre and don't live with my parents, and I have more than enough money put aside each month to afford a new camera or a new lens. I'm a Fuji shooter too and that isn't especially cheap.
Just stop buying Nintendo games or blowing all your money drinking at the weekend. Part of being an Adult is learning to budget and making sacrifices to fund your hobby. If you truly care about photography then you can keep up with old men and their retirement money bridge cameras.
