Share it wherever it's needed OP. Chances are it's not on social media. Social media norms tend to make you think that exposure to the masses is all there is. But it's just an industry that's got everyone by the balls. Apps like Instagram feed well on people who have tricked themselves into thinking they really need a big social media presence to be successful, or even just happy.
Literally look around you. Why not go organic and just start local in your community, or just show people who ask and keep it private and personal? If you haven't gone to art school, why not go there and immerse yourself in a community of other photographers? Even if social media is big and hip, the real social world where people actually interact and mingle with each other is out there. Connections can still be made in person.
