>>3830081nice, you're speaking my language man. sorry I called your photos turds. i also love that about film: it's a physical impression of a discrete instant in time, subject to the same rigours of time as us. here's the thing though, to show it to other people (unless it's a slide) you need to edit it somehow. whether that's printing in a darkroom (yes, very flexible w/r/t exposure and contrast, try it when you can) or scanning it and posting it online, there's an element of editing. I appreciate the purism but only to point of reproduction, at which point it isn't that original moment in time anymore anyways so why's it matter if it's an exact representation or merely a simulacrum?
