Don't know much about photography, so apologies in advance.
Currently I am using a Nikon d5200 with nikkor 35mm 1:1.8g. I really love this setup, however there is one situation where it doesn't work for me, that being mid/long-range shots where I want to capture more of my subject but cannot back-up any more. Pic rel is an example.
I assume the solution I need is a wider-angle lens, so could I ask for some recommendations that will serve this purpose while having similar quality to the 35mm prime I am used to? Budget is around 200-300CAD used.
Currently looking at a couple listings of Sigma 10-20mm f4-5.6, how would this stack up in terms of image quality/sharpness with my current nikkor? Does it fir a niche my current prime lens doesn't fill? Address my previously mentioned concerns?
