I was talking to a youtuber who has 60k subs and he does these really amazing 4K videos and I asked him for a recommendation for camera and lenses. He said he shoots everything with a GH5 and that I should get either that or one of the cheaper LUMIX bodies if I don't need weather sealing. He also said that the lenses he uses are 12-35 and 35-100 both /2.8.
I've seen this recommendation before. So why are so many people recommending these 2 lenses? is it just a meme? Why not something from the Leica line? Or Olympus line? Are they really that better for video? Are they any good for photography?
I'd like some insight before I start opening my wallet and buying gear.
Thanks!
