>>4087187Anon literally said that what he wants to shoot is similar to Yulia Gorbachenkos work, why the fuck would he watch Peter Coulsons videos if he wants to shoot like Yulia? First you make this retarded analogy and now this. You really are a troglodyte. Anon just wants some help and the thread was clean, he got quite a few people him but then a faggot like you comes spewing shit. Are you jealous or do you just not have anything better to do in your life?
>>4087192Yes. Two different things. Using a golf club as a tool is not nearly the fucking same as using a camera as a tool. A golf club in itself can't change or improve the quality of the way you play but a camera (and a lens) can both improve and change the quality of your photography. So yes, copying professionals gears can (quite literally) help you achieve the exact same quality of work as them. Especially if you also know how to edit as the person you're trying to copy is editing their work. Not to mention that anon literally said (and let me copy paste this):
>not at all. i already knew how i wanted to shoot or i should say ''my style'' and ''niche'' before i started researching photographers.>i plan on shooting just like or very close to yulia gorbachenko>im really liking the style of www.yuliagorbachenko.com its very, very, very close to what i like and most likely it is the exact way i would shoot like.>>4087194>you should have copied the techniquesI'm pretty sure that's why someone would copy not only a professionals camera and lens kits but also their entire gear. To be able to copy their techniques. Anon literally said he even bought fucking mirrors, gels and props(?) and those are some very specific items/tech that not a lot of photographers use, especially mirrors and gels, meaning he wants to copy her techniques and if a certain style or composition requires something he doesn't have, then he can't shoot in that style or with that technique.
Now shut the fuck up.
