Macro lenses can focus on anything from far to very close.
Normal lenses can just focus on far to kind of close... so why aren't every lenses just made with closer focusing ability, surely it can't be that expensive?
Is there a downside to macro lenses for normal photography that would make someone want to specifically buy a 100mm lens instead of a 100mm macro lens?
