Anyway, panny is really good for filming out there but their autofocus isnt great. They are good for rugged birding and wildlife on a budget. Olympus em1mk2/3 and em5mk3 is much better for filming yourself because they have something called phase detect autofocus. If youre trying to do a vlog, thats essential otherwise youre gonna have to put the panny in manual and just stay in the in-focus zone to guarantee it doesnt focus hunt. They have improved it a lot with firmware updates but its still lacking.
The fact that something better will come out should excite you because it will drive down the price of the G9 when it does.
