Most lenses for 35mm are shit on anything over 24mp, I mean that's not bad when you are really just scanning grain when scanning colour films like 160NC over 12mp.
The major limiting factor on full frame digital is the lens and it's resolving power. I mean that's why the Fuji gfx is so much better than the Shitty a7riii
