>>4142582I had a rebel t2i that I took all over the planet. Every climate, got exposed to everything, water, dust, salt, extreme heat and cold. Kit lens mostly and some cheap zoom. Long hikes just in a ziplock bag in my backpack. Still works, the lens eventually got sand in it and only works in manual now. I never babied it or really cared much. Would try to keep it dry and caps on stuff when not in use.
Olympus sells point and shoots that are actually everything proof if you want something you can take under water or put in the toilet and shit on.
