While that's true, the question isn't "Fundamentally, what is and isn't a True Leica". The question is "What should be allowed in the Leica thread" (with the obvious caveat that none of us really have any say over it and people can do whatever the hell they want so long as they're not breaking 4chan rules).
For me personally, I like the Leica threads because they've been more about actual photography than the normal racist dumpster fires and gear holy wars permeating the rest of the board, so I'm inclined to say that pictures from an L-mount body with no actual Leica parts is close enough and those photos should be welcomed. But posting a picture OF a Panasonic body isn't great. If you actually HAVE that body, post some pictures you took with it, don't just post an image from the review on
DigitalTrends.com and ask if it's allowed.
