In the west the RP sells worse than Panasonic FF.

In Japan the RP is also scraping the bottom. It lacks the popularity and low pricing of the EF-M cameras. And it can't attract enthusiasts like the R can. The R is outselling the RP.

Canon combined the wrong things.

They tried to combine miniaturisation with old tech.
The problem is, people who like miniaturisation are also the people who are enthusiastic about new tech.
And that type of customer is already in the Sony camp.

Canon's camp is the people who like big DSLR looking gear. And this type is more impressed by the Rabals than the RP.

That's why RP is flunking.

Those will be even more expensive than the current bodies.

That shit isn't going to sell for a long time to come, people still stick to their DSLR.
Nikon still hasn't managed to beat their own D750.

But it's true. Even Panasonic is outselling Canon RP.

In Japan the RP had a launch splash, but then disappeared from existence. The story is the same in Japan.
