>>4007425Nice anon! I bought an x-700 for my first camera as a birthday gift to myself!
If you're like me, you're going to spend time learning and adjusting to light intake, and then stability for lower light/night time photography before trying out different film types. Pay attention to the light meter (red dot looking through lens that points to what number you should be shooting at, depending on your aperture) and make sure it works, the light meter works great at night.

I have a variety of lenses that came with a camera bag I wanted. I bring it up because the 50mm f 1.7 lens I bought is often my go to if I'm not doing photos that require telephoto lens like 75mm +. It seems to be the same lens you posted on your photo.
I bought a lot of uncommon gear things (Motor Drive 1, Multi Function Back) for my camera because I like restoring things, don't fall for the trap if you think you'll use it often. You won't.
Buy a flash and practice with it, for instance the 280px works great, find one with a diffuser. Take pictures of your day out, things you find interesting, your friends.
Have fun with it!
