on the s5ii when browsing photos you can press Q to send one/many to the phone, though you still must open the app
as for editing, you can't send MOV to phones so lets talk about pics. If I want to post sth here, even a jpg, I must export it through lightroom to avoid embedeed file crap, since my phones Galery app produces the "image corrupted" error
lightroom for android is free however and has the basic features
