>>3459117When focusing, there's moving the entire camera (hand/rail), moving an internal element (focus ring), or moving the entire lens (bellows). Each will do slightly different things with the perspective and each has its place for what you are trying to accomplish. The biggest factor with macro, and these extreme macro photos I'm posting, is occlusion caused by things close to the lens (insect hair). It isn't as bad with things at say 3 feet working distance.
Keep that in mind and experiment a bit with all the methods you have on the same still subject.
