>>4296183>>4296184>>4296185these are lazy and instantly forgettable
the medium won't automatically make your photo interesting without it being an interesting photo in the first place
don't rely on a filmstock or a format to make it interesting
What's interesting about experimentation is intentionally thinking about how to use it to the benefit of the photo
Or not even intentionally at the time; sometimes the realization comes with the curatorial process, learning to find what's worth it
I find it particularly more interesting in every sense to think of new ways of making possible to make images (without it being tacky, which can also be difficult at times; and it's okay if you deal with it properly, also)
Not sucking my own cock, but if I'm offering harsh critique I might as well put my face out in the sun, né bicha
I realized I could portray how big the truck was even though it wouldn't fit in my field of view from where I was standing (as far as possible)
>>4296182This one is good as fuck, though
The light is great, the subject reflects it perfecly, this crazy eery yet nostalgic feel it gives, and the glow from this specific film brings it all together
But then it loses strength because it seems merely accidental amongst the boring ones
Explore the medium, but don't fetishize it
