i shoot raw then convert to .dng change the contrasts,whites,blacks, shadows ect then important into photoshop to clean the image up and adjust hues and maybe do some clandestine compositing.
what am i missing with not using "presets" in lightroom? do ppl really think blanket applying algorithms to their photos are going to magically make their photos great?

All feedback is very valuable to me given that I have stage 3 bone cancer. I am really trying to live life in the photography "fast lane". Just because I have cancer doesn't mean you have to be nice in your comments, I want the complete human experience. Happy photo taking.
