I used a tripod for the fireworks. I rested the camera on a railing for the train station photo. ISO is irrelevant when it comes to night photos if you're using a tripod. As long as you get the exposure right you're golden.
>>3124785eBay is always a good avenue. 35mm E6 is pretty pricey...don't know where to point you to for cheap stuff. I guess you could pick up that Lomo stuff to try E6 out. Just make sure you tell your lab you want them processed in E6 chemicals. I've heard of labs seeing the X-Pro C41 markings and x-proing it.
>>3124789No, you still need a scanner with a backlight. Use a digital camera if you have a good one or get a film scanner. Slide tends to be a bitch to scan with flatbeds...much easier to pull good detail out using a camera to scan.
