Low light means tripod, because anything above ISO200 sucks.
The lens is very good, and I like the 45mm-equiv FoV.
I would not tell a person to buy this as a camera to depend on for every situation. There are many times I am holding the DP2M and see something I'd like to shoot that the camera is not suitable for. A nice used crop DSLR with a standard zoom would be way more useful, about the same price, and the resolution would be sufficient for almost anything.
I bought it because I'm a sucker for weird technology, and because I spend less time fucking around with it than my DSLR gear. You interact with the camera in a relatively minimalist way, and nothing about the physical thing itself is interesting.
