>>3148777>>3148874Don't get me wrong, I'm ok with the feedback and took it. To be honest, I didn't expect anything else and overall agree.
However, on the strictly technical part:
>badly processed, horribly developedHere, I'm uncertain on how to process them differently.
The ones before the feedback are pushed to 800 and developed 8min (30s initial agitation, 5 inversions every minute afterwards) in HC-110 dil. B, the ones after aren't pushed and developed 5min. So, what is wrong with the development?
>depicting nothingI always have a problem with that. Obviously, there are no "decisive moments" and nothing of significance, but they are still showing something. I'm finding it hard to depict significant happenings here, as to me, nothing of significance seems to happen around me.
>develop your eyeIn the past weeks I found myself reading many books and watching documentaries, but taking very few photos and wondering on how to compose in certain situations. Then I realized that if I just sit around thinking about "rules of composition" and "how to make the best of a situation" won't get me any photos. That's why I went outside and just shot. I'm well aware of the fact that each frame itself isn't good and only as a series they depict my impression of this carnival.
Is it possible to develop an eye by strictly applying compositional rules?
Interested in some more in-depth feedback on this one if you don't mind (technical aspects aside).
