>100-400 v1 vs v2Optically, they're the same I think. If you're willing to try in-person before buying, you can get an acceptably smooth copy. Even so, the stiffness through the range can still be quite uneven which is pretty important desu. TC compatibility can be modded in with the same FL limitations as v2. The only thing that'd sway me to v2 is the improved AF while zooming, and if you find the characteristics of the new zoom ring compelling enough.
>50-200It's great. Bit of field curvature, at least in my copy, but that can be a good thing. Classic PL rendering and good bokeh. My zoom ring was too smooth and I had to fit a lens band to stop creep, which was a bit annoying.
