Also, what seems to be going over your head is that shot is me trying to roughly recreate this shot from Bladerunner - I spent forever trying to dial in what you're calling purple fringing to match. In the original, it's secondary blue layer halation from the Eastman film stock. In mine I'm obviously emulating it because I shot on an A7s lol.
