seeing pic related made me uninstall instagram. i'll probably be back on it in the new year because of course. i just hate how algorithimc it feels. any time i put hashtags on my posts i feel like i'm selling out. pulling the shitty social games of strategically liking and following people, doing all the tricks to get engagement just makes me feel like a robot. i feel like success right now is not linked to your ability as a photographer but rather your ability to game the social media system. it's all so tiresome.
