I was worried shooting that scene on a negative since the actual sunset was orange to the extreme, but I also shot a sheet of E100 which worked very well as a color reference. That image honestly shows the reality of the sunset, which was truly nuts.

Here's something fun while backpacking this summer. I don't usually have much success with super long exposures on negative film (10 minutes here) because the film often pops into a different position in the holder at some point as it changes temperature and humidity. Slides are thicker and never have trouble. I have made a habit of slapping the film holder against the palm of my hand before shooting to help seat the sheet, it seems to help.
