Why are we so obsessed with gear? When I talk to other photographers they always insist I should go full frame. I come here and there's a bunch of gear threads. There's a never ending list of suggested videos on my youtube for unboxing and new cameras.
To be honest I think I shot better in my point and shoot than my DSLR. Friends look at my dlsr and expect great photos and it's tiresome showing them my snapshits. I feel that they say they look awesome out of pity.
