(I.e. you could easily do a 11/2 stop longer exposure, and IIRC 1500 vs. 1300 ISO is basically less than 1 stop difference, correct me if I'm wrong). As for the dynamic range, the difference is not all that big at all, 13.4 vs. 12.8, however, I'm not sure you can alleviate it.
